Judy and Dan live in Jamaica Plain, an eclectic neighborhood in the City of Boston, and held their wedding at the historic Loring-Greenough House right in the heart of their neighborhood. The house is in the middle of a busy square, so Judy and Dan were greeted with lots of cheers and honking horns from all the passers-by. It really felt like a community event! The couple did a private “first look” so that we could do all of their formal family portraits before the ceremony and, when it was time, Judy and Dan walking down the aisle together. As a surprise, Judy made Dan a larger-than-life cardboard cutout of their beloved cat so that he could “participate” in the ceremony. And afterwards, everyone enjoyed an amazing dinner catered by Mei Mei Street Kitchen followed by hilarious toasts, singing, and dancing.
What they’ll most remember: Many of her family members sang a sweet and tear-jerking rendition of “You Are My Sunshine” during a toast.
