In July, Natalie and Sam got married and had a memorable and hilarious wedding. Everything this couple does generates laughter and happiness, I swear it. The power even went out halfway through the reception, and their friends just kept on dancing! In the dark! Nothing could stop this party.
We started out with a few photos of them both getting ready before organizing a quick first look and getting through a long list of family photos. The weather was so perfect – not too hot and not humid. Just right for a summer evening.
The ceremony was heartfelt and led by Sam’s aunt, who had traveled from afar to be with them. The Huppah under which they stood was passed down from a friend and has been featured in the New York Times! Very cool, and assembled by Natalie’s parents that morning.
Finally, the reception. So much laughing, so many happy tears, so so so much dancing! This wedding was truly a joyous event and I was so honored to be the one to document it. Mazel Tov!
