Earlier this week I photographed a wonderful cooking class at the Boston Center for the Arts: “Cooking with Lamb and Beer.” (To answer the question that more than one person has asked, no, the lambs did not actually do the cooking.) It was a fun, delicious, and aromatic class taught by Chef Michael Scelfo of the Russell House Tavern in Cambridge; beer was provided by Pretty Things Beer, a Somerville-based l brewery; and the whole thing was hosted by the American Lamb Board. All of this is a precursor to the American Lamb Board’s “Lamb Jam” held in Boston on February 20th where 17 top Boston chefs compete to make the most delicious lamb dish. Even this vegetarian can’t wait!
