Brian & Lindsay are getting married in August and we did their Get to Know You session in the fall, so that they could take advantage of the summer evening light and have cute pictures for their Save the Dates. (Side Note: In case you aren’t familiar with me and my wedding philosophy, I don’t like the term “engagement photos,” because I think it’s so loaded and implies a lot of pressure to be romantic and cheesy! So that is why I call this a Get to Know You Session instead – after all, it’s really about getting to know your photographer and getting some comfort in front of the camera before your wedding day.)
Anyway, these two lovebirds chose to do their session in Boston’s Seaport District, right on the waterfront and with a gorgeous view of the Boston skyline. Like most of the couples who hire me to make their wedding and engagement photos, Brian and Lindsay are way more interested in authentic, candid moments rather than posed portraits. So their photos feature, in their words, “lots of laughs and love that day.”
