Boston Lamb Jam 2011

Sunday was the much anticipated 2011 Boston Lamb Jam, which – despite the fact that I am a vegetarian and was a vegan for several years – is one of my favorite foodie events to photograph.  There are 17 amazing chefs preparing 17 creative dishes, hundreds of people tasting and voting, lots of fun take-home items, beer and wine enough for all of Eastern Massachusetts and lots of great photographs to be made.  It’s a good time.  This year the winning restaurants were The Fireplace, Garden at the Cellar, Gargoyles on the Square, Citizen Public House and Oleana – all personal favorites of mine!  Here are a few pics to give you a sense of the afternoon.  Check out the American Lamb Board’s Facebook page in a few days to see the rest!
