Last week was the 3rd Annual Party to benefit the Boston Cyclists Union (BCU). The BCU has done some great work advocating for bike lanes and increased safety for cyclists throughout Boston and as an avid cyclist (yes, even with camera gear in tow), I am so happy to be able to support them. This was my second year photographing the BCU’s big party and the special guests this year were both of the City’s Mayoral Candidates: John Connolly and Marty Walsh. I don’t know who I am supporting for mayor YET, but it was great to see them both there and know that, while much remains to be done, cycling has a permanent home in Boston’s streets.
