Kate & Nate live right around the corner from the gorgeous Town Hall in Arlington, which I am guessing helped make it an easy decision to have their wedding at the Town Hall. The town hall/library complex is a fairly popular venue for weddings, but it was my first time there. I was incredibly impressed with everything the space had to offer. And the grounds make for a stunning backdrop to an outdoor ceremony like Nate & Kate’s.
Their cocktail hour was held upstairs in a series of rooms with high ceilings and formal portraits hanging on the walls (it all felt very historic to me) and then the reception was downstairs in the Robbins Memorial Auditorium. I loved working with Kate & Nate because they are super laid-back and just want to be themselves. Perfect for my approach of capturing authentic moments and not forcing any uncomfortable posing! Their wedding was also super organized thanks to their wedding coordinator from Without a Hitch Boston, who made sure that every detail was in place and everything ran on time.
