This week I had a really fun assignment for a client: go take photos in the City of Cambridge and make them look cool. This is highly unusual for me: a photography request from a client who didn’t have any specific images in mind. She wanted action, atmosphere, colors, textures. She wanted photographs that showed Cambridge as a happening place to be with lots going on, lots of fun, lots of art, lots of people. So I went out for a photo shoot with absolutely no idea what I was going to come away with. First time that has happened in probably 4 years!
For three hours, I walked through Cambridge (and I had an associate photographer walking around for three hours, too) and together we came up with hundreds of cool photos that show the action, motion, colors and textures of a vibrant city. This was such a fun photo assignment, not only because the client was thrilled beyond belief by what I created, but because I was able to just go out making photos without a lot of directions. And it was a beautiful night. And it was so fun.
Here are just a few of the photos so you can get a sense of what we made. Loved this job !
