On Monday, I had the pleasure of photographing Non-Profit Awareness Day for the Massachusetts Non-Profit Network. I am a member of the MNN, since it’s a great way to stay in touch with a sector I care deeply about, and photographing the event for them was a really fun way for me to be involved with the organization. Non-Profit Awareness Day is actually an official day in Massachusetts; the Lt. Governor even attended the event and read an official proclamation declaring it so! The declaration of the day is an important nod to the non-profit community from the state government and an important acknowledgment of the critical impact that the sector makes in so many peoples’ lives.
Non-Profit event photography is one of my favorite parts of my job. Look at all of these smiling people!
