Well, 2013 is just barely underway, and I have already committed 80% of my available dates for wedding photography! I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful clients and inquiries everyday. My success is due in large part to my wonderful past and present clients who continue to refer their friends and family members to me for wedding photography, portrait photography, and event photography.
Referrals, especially for wedding photography, are invaluable to me. I know how hard and intimidating it can be for couples to find great photographers! It’s hard because hiring a photographer is unfamiliar to most people. Because a wedding day is a huge and important event in your life so there’s a lot of pressure. Because when you hear horror stories about wedding photographers you’re more afraid to hire someone you don’t know. Because it can take a lot of time and effort to identify, meet with, and hire a photographer who you’re comfortable with. There are lots of reasons why hiring a photographer is daunting and why great referrals can make everyone’s lives easier!
Don’t you agree? Don’t you agree that asking your friends or sisters how they liked their wedding photographer is a much better way to find someone than spending all of those hours scouring wedding websites? Wouldn’t it calm your worries if you knew that your best friend said her photographer was helpful, kind, caring, thoughtful, creative, produced excellent photos, made them feel comfortable, was affordable, and got them their images on time? I know I would feel calmer.
I would love to meet with you and tell you why I am the best photographer for you. But don’t take it from me. I have a great collection of testimonials on my website that will help you find out if I am the right photographer for you. I can also get you in touch with some past clients who will share with you what their experience was like.
Go ahead. Ask around. It’s the best first step to finding a wedding photographer who you love and who will make you feel special and comfortable on your Big Day.
