Last weekend Erin and Dave hired me to photograph them with their 11 month old son in the Arnold Arboretum here in Jamaica Plain. Per my suggestion, they coordinated and all wore blue shirts that made the baby’s bright blue eyes look absolutely stunning! We played and laughed and hung out in the shade until the baby got a little cranky. In my experience, you usually get about 45 good minutes for photographing a baby and then their attention spans wane and they get tired and hungry. These parents were well prepared; they brought a bottle, a blanket and plenty of toys so we were able to keep him happy for close to an hour got some wonderful family portraits. Here are a few early favorites.
