In the fall of 2008, I spent 6 weeks traveling through the beautiful country of Argentina – from the sea to the mountains. With only adequate Spanish, communicating was difficult and arduous. The story that these pictures tell is one of solitude and quiet, of learning an unfamiliar place by watching and seeing rather than by speaking.
